Biography:
Originally started in 2007 as a solo project by Erik "Wikk" Labossiere (Nachtterror) DESECRATE SCRIPTURE would eventually grow to become one of the best know black metal projects in Saskatchewan. In 2009, Erik left Nachtterror due to personal differences and was approached by Darius Simonot (Symbiote, Celestial Machine) about turning the Desecrate demos into a full project.

With the addition of Mike Guillet, (Symbiote, Celestial Machine) Owen Larwood, (Autaric) and Justin Ehman Desecrate Scripture was now a five piece project ready to take their claim in the Saskatchewan metal scene.

In 2009 Desecrate Scripture released their debut EP "Wolves of Damnation" featuring 5 songs written both before the full band was created and during their time performing. Soon after, along with Celestial Machine, Desecrate took part in the "Van Full of Hate Tour 2010" making 11 stops between Winnipeg and Victoria. A followup "Blast-beats for Satan" with Prince Albert's Druidus in 2011 began establishing them in Western Canada.

On February 3rd, 2012 Desecrate Scripture debuted their first full length album "Under Grey Skies" featuring 8 tracks including "Emperor of this Sorrowful Realm," "Nekrotroll," and "Those Above All"

Desecrate Scripture will embark on their third Western Canadian Tour supporting their new album, hitting 14 cities in 17 days in late April, and early May. Watch for Desecrate Scripture this Spring.
